2/3/04: FAILURES...
Well a few things have gone wrong, first off FX NETWORKS didn't return our affiliates application which from their point of view means saying "FUCK YOU" in a more polite quite way. Well we are still getting FREE ADSPACE on the FUCK SOCIETY (which we are internally greatful for), but we want for you people to start interacting with the site more!!!
2/1/04: ADVERTISERS!!!
Well today I am going to be watching the superbowl along with any other RED BLOODED AMERICAN!!!! But I am also going to be getting us some more advertisers since the frontpage is almost full (which is kind of what we wanted). As far as pop ups are concerned, I am sorry but now adays BANDWIDTH IS NOT CHEAP, so we sort of have to keep the popups (just until we can get enough advertisers to fill EVERY PAGE)
Right now we are making some success, as far as contracts are concerned we are trying to set up as AFFILIATES with FX NETWORKS and we are going to ADVERTISE on SILLYGOTH and on NEWGROUNDS. We are now at 300k hits PER MONTH, but we are not satisfied with that.

Update 1/28/04: WE JUST KEEP GROWING!!!!
Well we finally made SOME PROGRESS as far as getting more people to interact with the site, right now we now have 6 or 7 people on the BBS (including yours truly), and we have just formed a semi partner ship with THE FUCK SOCIETY starting WEDNESDAY they will have our banners on their front page. KEEP IN MIND that there front page recieves 100k clicks per day, this is going to push us one step further in becoming HUGE. BUT FOR NOW, I am cranking people left and right trying to come up with some funny shit.
UPDATE 1/26/04: FILM PLANNING
Right now I am in PRE PRODUCTION on (OUR) Crank Films latest short COMBINATION EX. Right now me and a few friends are writing out the script and we are touching up on the dialog. BUT THE MOVIE WILL BE DONE IN ABOUT A MONTH, NOW here is a problem right now the site is doing okay (financially) but we need to make more money to improve the site, AND TO MAKE MORE MOVIES.
Now here is what we are going to do, just so that we can make COMBINATION EX to be viewable for FREE!!! We are going to have to add a few more banner ads on the site, but I WILL MAKE THIS PROMISE!!! NO MORE POP UPS, just enough affilate programs and advertisers to give you guys WHAT YOU DESERVE.
UPDATE 1/23/04: REBORN!!!
Look I have been thinking and I have thought this over long and hard. The fact of the matter is simple we need partners but don't have the size necessary to make this site what we want it. But then I realized that when we first made this site we weren't thinking about making a buck. WE WERE THINKING ABOUT CRANKING PEOPLE and even though this site has been up for almost a full month I have only put up 4 cranks WHICH IS PATHETIC.
I was walking home when I finally decided that from here on out, I am going to be a dedicated cranker like I once was. It is my goal to crank one new person per day if I did it at that rate it would be 365 cranks a year NOT INCLUDING the ones that will be submitted on the bbs by you. It is my goal to have atleast 400 NEW CRANKS by 2005 and that is my main focus right now!!!
Update 1/22/04: SLOWLY GROWING
Right now we are forming some partnership with some awesome sites. Right now due to legal purposes I HAVE TO KEEP THEM CLASSIFIED, but as soon I get them done FOR SURE I will post there links and tell you ALL OUT THEM. That is all that I can update on right now.
UPDATE 1/21/04: LINK EXCHANGES
Look people until we get this place up to atleast 25k visitors a day, we aren't going to be able to add all of the features that we want to. So I am asking all of you webmasters out there to goto the linktous and post some of our banners on your site. IN EXCHANGE we will either put you in the LINKS, NETWORK, AFFILIATES, or MUSIC SITES section.
We are also looking for sites to partner up with, if you would like to partner up with us then EMAIL ME (asap), we need to get this site rolling even further then its already going. We need you people to help contribute to the site, even if you just goto the BBS and post once or twice a day you are helping us out more then you will ever know. We are trying to start a HUGE community, but we need you to help us.
UPDATE 1/20/04: RAGE EXPRESS NEWS
Hi everyone for the past few months I have wanted to create a publication that CRANKBEUS could truly call its own. I have been looking for writers, but since we didn't have a dedicated forum to getting involved with this. It was kind of hard, that is why I have taken the liberty of making a forum in the BBS for all of those who want to volunteer/contribute to the magazine.
We need people to help us out or else it will never be released.

Right now I am throwing two contests, one is for a mascot (for the site, something that REPRESENTS WHO WE ARE), and the other is for a t-shirt logo (something that will make the site money.) If you would LIKE to participate in any of these, goto the BBS and then from there sign up, then goto the main chat section and either post your MASCOT idea or your T-shirt ideas in the main chat section.
UPDATE 1/19/04: PROBLEMS OCCURING
A FEW PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN OCCURING, I AM GOING TO BE FIXING THEM TODAY. THE PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN REPORTED AS IMAGES NOT BEING ABLE TO BE SEEN, I am taking the liberty of fixing this ALL DAMN DAY if you still see problems with the site EMAIL ME.
UPDATE 1/18/04: WE ARE DONE WITH THE REDESIGN!!!
I got the redesign DONE yesterday it took me a while to configure everything, but in the end it turned out ok. Unlike the other (crappier) version of this site, all the pages actually have THE SAME fucking style to it, just like you people wanted. ONCE AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THIS MOMENT to say FUCK YOU to all of you who didn't support the site. And to all of you who have supported us from the good to the bad we commend you for your efforts to help us out.
UPDATE 1/18/04: MORE REDESIGN NEWS
We have been having some technical difficulties, but the redesign should be done by the end of the day, right now I am currently building the ADVERTISING and LINKTOUS pages. The CRANKS page is done though.

Well to all of you who said that the site sucked, I would like to take a moment to tell you all to go FUCK YOURSELVES. Well I passed all of my finals that is why I am making this update and you have an awesome site. For you who said that this site sucked because of design purposes, you can all blow me. BECAUSE THIS SITE OFFICIALLY KICKS ASS!!!!
Now that I am away from BURNING you people, I am now going to take a moment to ask for volunteers, I think that now that the site is awesome that you will all BOW DOWN TO ME HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! But seriously this site doesn't RUN ITSELF, I mean we have bandwidth costs, and we are trying to start an internet legacy, known as cranking.
Soon we are going to get some studio time (thanks to a friend of a friend) and we are going to make phone call pranks to people. NOW.... this will cost us money so all clicking to our sponsors would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.
ONE MORE THING, please join the message board I know that it is a pain in the ass to sign up for but we seriously need to start proving to people that we ACTUALLY GET 8-12k hits per day.
That is why I put some BETTER BANNERS in the LINKTOUS section, we NEED to grow in order to keep our affiliate orders HAPPY, now in order to keep these piece of shit orders happy we are going to need for website owners to post our link on their site. IN EXCHANGE we will either put you in the links section (for smaller sites), affiliates (for intermediate to larger sites), or we will put you into the NETWORK (guys that really bring in the hits). Alls you have to do is POST THE CODE from the link to us page into your website (we have small banners to large banners) then EMAIL US when you have done so.
